Vandellós City Council

Telnet systems performs the drafting of the project and the execution of the system of control-automation –communications of the Technological Incubator Building of the Vandellòs city council, to provide the best building, energy efficiency, safety and comfort.

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

The new Technological Business Incubator Building of the city of Vandellòs and Hospitalet de L'Infant is an 'intelligent' building. Telnet systems designed the equipment of the building to make it energy eficient, to make it a comfortable building for its users and to offer the best available telecommunication services. 

 

The building consists of 6 warehouses, 1 reception hall in the ground floor, 1 mezzanine used as a Data Center, 18 offices and Multipurpose room. The Business incubator offers a space equipped to new business initiatives, allowing them to start working focused on their business without outside concerns.

  

Telnet systems has installed a control system based on the KNX European standard that controls lighting, climate, access, intrusion security and fire detection. It also manages the occupation of the offices, electrical consumption and access. Control system interacts with the communications system to allow remote control of the building and send incident warnings via SMS and EMail.

 

Telnet systems has installed a communication infrastructure based on a structured cabling in fibre to the desk, and a LAN IP network managed by policies of last generation, on which are offered services of local computer network (LAN) bandwidth of up to 10 Gb per user, IP telephony, Internet access, private Intranet access,Municipal Intranet access, IP Video surveillance System access , access to the system console control of the building, among others. The building network is integrated within the Town Hall by a link Wimax network.

 

The tandem KNX-lP is the core of the building intelligence. The perfect combination of both systems can integrate any current or future needs which makes the system of building control-comunicacion a living system able to adapt to any requirement.

Tarragona City Council

 

Telnet systems carries out the maintenance of the Wifi - Wimax network that links the various civic centres and implements a system of technical alerts of the CPD in the City Council of Tarragona

 

 

 

 

 

 

   

  

 

 

 

Telnet systems maintains since 2009 the Wifi - Wimax network of the Tarragona City Council which serves to provide IP telephony service, and access to the internet and municipal intranet of the civic centers of Torreforta, Campclar, San Pedro and San Pablo, San Salvador, Bonavista with the city council. Maintenance service includes a preventive service review of the system to anticipate decreases in the quality of communications, and a corrective service in case of interruption of the communication with response times and resolution consistent with the criticality of the service concerned.

 

Telnet systems has implemented the system of technical alerts of the CPD for the building of the Plaça de la Font and the Rambla of the Tarragona City Council. The system controls access, air conditioning and the flooding of the CPD, by sending an email to maintenance in the event of alarm in any of the monitored Systems. The system is complemented with a video camera surveillance which allows you to remotely monitor the CPD and a system of alerts via sound ringing in the City Hall security surveillance service which allows the City Hall security personnel to detect any alarm that occurs at any time of the day.

 

 

 

Town Hall of Cambrils

 

Telnet systems has made the installation of interactive terminals of public information, and the telecommunications network of optical fiber that connects the municipal buildings of the Town Hall of Cambrils.

 

 

 

Telnet has developed the installation of a telecommunication network of high speed fiber optic for the interconnection of the municipal buildings of the Town Hall of Cambrils (City Hall, Senior Citizens’ Home-2, Youth information point, Sports Pavilion, Three Eras mill Museum, Cultural center, Social Services Office, Municipal equipment Llimo Tower, Justice of the peace, Forn del Tallero offices, The Provincial School of Music, Future Civic Center of the old town, Library, Senior Citizen’ Home-1, Theatre - Auditorium,Youth Atheneum – Training Center,Tourist Board, Municipal Office of Education, Cambrils Radio and Television Studies, Municipal Nursery,Les Basses Civic centre).

 

Telnet has installed fiber optic Singlemode cables for underground piping, and optical distributors so that each of the buildings has a minimum of 4 optical fibers that link with the building of the Town Hall. Telnet has carried out the installation of an information system with 6 interactive terminals of citizen and tourist information that are connected to the internet via 3 G router. The terminals have been installed at various strategic locations of the streets of Cambrils. The system has a server on the cloud, allowing City Council manage information and the contents that display terminals, obtaining usage statistics, control issues and maintenance of terminals.

 

Telnet has automated the system in order to automatically update information from the City Council's own website, news RSS and weather information from Meteocat service channels.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Catalan Institute of chemical research (ICIQ)

Telnet systems has implemented a fourth-generation wireless network that covers the network services corporate and mobile IP in all facilities of the Catalan Institute of chemical research (ICIQ), one of the main reference of the chemical research in Europe.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Telnet systems deploys new Wifi 4G network, providing coverage of network and IP telephony to laboratories, offices and common areas of the Institute, with the maximum bandwidth, standards of safety and superior quality to wired networks and supporting traffic supporting intense traffic of hundreds of devices of all types, common in research centers such as the ICIQ.

  

One of the differential characteristics of WiFi 4G installed by Telnet systems is its exclusive architecture "single channel" which allows greater bandwidths, desaturates the network and guarantees the continuity of communication, even in movement. These features allow users of the Institute to work without problems, with large files, stream multimedia content and use services of IP telephony with maximum quality and no cuts, even in their internal displacement.

 

The Catalan Institute of chemical research ICIQ is located in a building of 3 floors in a U-shape, in which are distributed to different laboratories and offices of the institution. New WiFi 4G network is structured on different VLANS on Enterasys systems. For its part, the IP telephony system is based on a central Siemens Hipath. Telnet systems has integrated both systems with the Wifi 4G of Meru Mentworks system. In the project, Telnet systems raised to replace the Wifi 3G network existing Enterasys, by another 4G of Meru Networks technology-based, more advanced, allowing the present and future needs and incorporate new services such as IP telephony and multimedia streaming.
